Design thinking has been an attractive term recently often heavily talked about in advertising and marketing industries in part because it is such a great label and reflects the process of human centered approach to innovation(. So, what is design thinking?ĭesign Thinking can have various definitions attached to it, but design thinking can be categorized as an iterative process in which ideas are constantly being analyzed and acquired to help us redefine a problem in an attempt to identify alternative strategies and solutions which might not be instantly apparent initially. Only through new ways of thinking, designing better solutions, services and experiences that solve our current problem will lead to tackling emerging challenges (Dam&siang,2019). Rapid changes in society and the methods we previously were accustomed to solve many of those problems we faced are no longer effective. Einstein was right - we can’t solve problems by using the same kind of thinking used when we created them.
